READY TO GO...

After a few months of recruiting, planning and meeting, a group of nineteen people from First Immanuel Lutheran, Concordia University Pharmacy School, Children's Hospital, Milwaukee, and Butler University will be visiting several locations in Guatemala to provide healthcare, health education, and most importantly the Gospel message to hundreds of people they will see from March 3rd through the 17th.
Sixteen of the group will be flying down from Chicago on March 3rd, spending their time in Amatitlan, a community about thirty minutes south of Guatemala City.
After week one, ten will return home and three more will head down to make a team of nine that will travel northeast to Zacapa, setting up a clinic in the small town of La Majada. This team will serve the week and return on March 17th. Your continued prayers for group unity, mission success and safe travel are valued and appreciated!
A big thank you to all who have supported this mission through donations of money and materials! Without these items and funds, the mission would not be as successful as it is!

This is how God showed His love among us: He sent His one and only Son into the world that we might LIVE through Him. 1 John 4:9

  1. Hi Mom(Bev) and All!

I had some difficulty trying to find you guys:) I am glad Jo sent me the link.
Looks like you all have been busy and enjoying the mission work. It is so neat to see what it is like in a different country. Someday I hope I can help out with the work.
I will share this information with Dad and others so they all know what is happening.
Love you all! Come home safely!

Did you all hear about Mr. Chavez of Venezuela. That was the big news story besides the big storm hitting east coast.

    Take care all!
    Yvonne
